The book of Isaiah, Chapter 53 tells the story of the life and death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Isaiah foretold how the Messiah would die. He prophesied that the Messiah would be spit on, mocked, and beaten. Then he would be pierced and hung on a tree where he would die.The amazing thing about this is that the book was written approx. 700 years BEFORE Jesus walked the dusty streets of Jerusalem.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

Meditate on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and His Father HERE, following the visual milestones in Jesus’ life as He fulfills scripture on His predestined mission to Calvary. Ask yourself, would YOU do it?
